My name is Ted Stern and I am committed to helping you lose the excess body fat, build muscle, and boost your energy and performance so you can be your best self.

I started my own fitness journey at age 18 but realized I needed a new approach at age 24 when I was 50lbs overweight and had high blood pressure. I hated they way I looked and felt. I used what I learned from my wife (girlfriend at the time) and methods I picked up from other coaches to create the process we use in the Fit Responder Program.

Now days, I am a very happy family man on a mission to help others with their own fitness, body and health goals. Although I miss being a Cop in many ways, I can’t trade the passion I have now helping clients full time who inspire me daily.

Since starting the Fit Responder program, I have been able to make a hugely positive impact in countless lives, and the drive to continue that never stops for me, and I hope to do the same for you for what I’ve done for many others.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long will I need coaching?

A: It can vary depending on goals, but most clients start with a 16 week program. Most clients also sign up for more time while they are in the program. Why? We gain their trust and buy in when they start to see incredible results, love the process, the support, and see themselves hitting more goals down the line using our proven methods.

Q: How is this any better than personal training with a trainer in a gym?

A: After switching to “Remote Coaching” (Messages, Zoom, Phone calls, etc) I found I was able to make a bigger and better impact with clients. How so? Clients I would work with in a gym typically did up to 3-4 sessions per week at most. But their schedule would have to align perfectly with appointment times, and that proved problematic for busy working people. Also, a personal trainer can cover the workout but does not involve a comprehensive nutrition plan or ongoing support and contact during the week. Remote coaching means more accountability, more support, better plans and structure, and convenience for the client.

Q: Do I get one on one help or am I just another number in an app?

A: You will get close 1:1 support, we will know you and your circs. Your plans will be tailored to you specifically.  We will likely know your dogs name too. You won’t get better support than this.

Q: What if I am inexperienced and have no clue about nutrition or training?

A: We have clients who barely know what a dumbbell is all the way to seasoned athletes. Expect a custom process with coaching that meets you at your level.

Q: How will I know if I can follow the nutrition protocol?

A: We look at what you like to eat, what you don’t like, what has worked, what hasn’t, when you want to eat, family and work needs, and adjust based on feedback. We cover everything from prepped meals to frozen meals and eating out. We recognize that peoples habits and preferences matter, so we customize it to fit. You won’t find a better plan that’s more fit for you!

Q: I am injured, can I still do this?

A: It definitely depends on the injury. Please apply so we can learn more about your situation and make a recommendation.

Q: Will Ted be involved and will I have communication with him?

A: Duh, I’m not that famous yet! I will be available through chat basically daily, I provide coaching calls over zoom, I monitor your progress throughout and will make sure we give you the best steps for success.
